We fight for intersectional Climate Justice, pushing for a Green New Deal for British Columbia.
From pushing back against pipelines - that clearly go against the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples - to advocating for labour rights, we approach climate JUSTICE through an intersectional lens; we know that without overlapping movements such as migrant rights and disability justice, there is no climate justice.
Our Time fights to bring a Green New Deal to colonially-known-as BC that
1) Upholds Indigenous rights and sovereignty,
2) Keeps fossil fuels in the ground,
3) Creates green jobs for all,
4) Funds communities and defunds the police.
